Anyone can make a shock feel smooth in the parking lot, but pot holes and
chatter bumps on a down hill course at speed. . . . . ? The pressure drop
behind the piston on rapid movements will cause cavatation by pulling gas and
air bubbles out of the suspension fluid. This you can feel as you lose damping
control. I know Ohlins (gasp. . . . . ) has figured out how to deal with this.
