This bridge over Clayburn creek has been there in one form or another for 15+ years.
This is the third bridge with ever new bridge bigger and higher.
Seems lately every year we get a huge flood conditions ,as last week when the creek overflowed the bank and raged. Same for the lower trail Lost Oakley's bridge.
That bridge got wiped out so many times ,a s/s cable hidden under one end and around a huge tree, if the pier wipes out it just lays over to the side and we go in when the weather improves and we redo.
The ST bridge may be needing a new pier job as the stream looks to be slowly taking out the base. always something.
Darn developments above and logging of Sumas seems to be making this a regular occurence imo.
