This pix is nearly four years old, (bridge age approx. nine years)but the bridge still stands as proud as ever. Mesh has been added and a big old maple just about took it out. Now the downed Maple is part of the end . Over the years Clayburn area has seen a mine get bigger, houses denuding the forest,a huge subdivision above ,as well as logging on Sumas. This means now every year a couple of times this creek floods and Clayburn village get huge volumes of water. Some are looking who to blame, considering this trail has been here fifteen plus years, and it never flooded before, guess why . G
