So these mountain bike specific shoes are totally great!… off the mountain
bike… Lol. I had the same experience with the AM 45's on flats. Total shite.
Get them cold and wet on less than super grippy pedals and you might as well
be wearing ice skates. Not sure what is going on at Shimano R&D or how a
"Vibram" sole is supposed to be a selling point. I'm pretty sure any of my
street shoes would be grippier.
