Comparing those two bikes is barking up the wrong tree. They do not have the
same design intentions. Trying to fit the Hightower into the Slash mold (for
what reason I can't tell? b/c it's SC's longest travel 29er for now?) would be
bastardizing its pedigree. Yes, you will see SC-sponsored riders racing on
Hightowers from time to time, but when they need outright juice, they'll go
Bronson or Nomad. It won't be long before SC releases a larger 29er, I
wouldn't think.
