I had a first generation chromag samurai. 6'2″ on a large frame, the 71* sta
was the only thing I disliked about that bike. currently on a last-generation
chromag surface with a 73* sta, no offset seat post and my saddle slammed
forward, which is better - but for steep up and down riding, I dream of
75/76*…
ftr I run a Thomson layback post on my road bike, saddle slammed back on a 72*
sta frame - apples and oranges
