Go pick up some thin, clear, adhesive plastic cover. Any auto protection place

Apply it to all areas on your bike that see rubbing or a lot of mud. This will
drastically reduce wear marks/shuttle damage/rock strikes. Sometimes puppy dog
eyes will get it to you for free, sometimes not.
