#!markdown One year into the ec70s and they both cracked within a week or two of each other right at the seam… I'm wondering if it's coincidence or fatigue. I've ridden these wheels on the same trails up until now and never had a problem. Easton/Backcountry.com says it's because of an impact so they aren't warrantyable…. I say how do you ride a mountain bike on a trail without having impacts? They didn't cause me to crash, just burped a bit, then Stans sealed em up… These aren't sold as road wheels. So there's gonna be chunder in the trail and these are sold as stronger than aluminum wheels. I don't think so… BTW: What was the weight again?
