I was quite happy how it worked on these types of trails. The not-so-slack
head angle allows for decent precision in slower speed situations, but there's
still enough fork for the steep knarly rolls. And the big wheels are great in
rooty knarfests (like the Bookwus switchbacks). A pretty great shore bike,
imo.
