#!markdown Tim has been acknowledged as one of the most experienced and competent search and rescue volunteers in the country. When talking to the media he gave off an air of steely confidence that made you think nothing could upset him or distract him from his duties. Adventuring on the North Shore isn't as safe as it was yesterday. Very sad.
