I was very much of the opinion that biking was an expensive sport, hobby and
lifestyle up until I dated someone that rode horses at a competitive level.
After seeing the simply eye-watering cost of entry into the sport (not to
mention the ongoing upkeep of gear AND a living, breathing creature), I find
it hard to complain about the cost of biking any more.
