Excellent review. I have the EX8 29er and can relate to many of the points
you've raised. On the whole I find it more than capable for my local trails in
NW England, but it did feel a little out of its depth when I took it to the
Alps. I've since swapped the flimsy Fox 32 out for a Pike (reduced to 120mm),
as well as changed the rubber and wheels which has vastly improved the ride.
Maybe I should've just bought the Remedy!
