sorry for the late reply. as expressed in the article, i think the 29er fuel
really benefits from a light weight wheelset. as for tires, i think you want
something with good and balanced grip fore and aft: i found myself dependent
more on the back end of the bike while riding the fuel than i'm used to;
something light a dhr2 would seem a good choice. enjoy!
