#!markdown Wouldn't you rather have a friendly relationship with your bike shop than one based on the pretense that you're doing them a favour by buying a bike through them? A $5-10 investment in social lubricant pays off almost immediately – good shop customers know the occasional thank-you six pack is worth its weight in gold.
