Update: Called up Yakima regarding the ratcheting issue mentioned above. Was
told I probably had one of the early production models which had this issue,
they have since redesigned the internals so it no longer requires more force
to rotate. As a result they're sending me a new replacement tray at no cost.
Customer service at it's best.
