I tried to go 29er, but with an inseam of 28″ and being all of 5'6″, every
small sized big-wheeler I've ridden handles odd to me. Like uncomfortable,
eat-the-ground every time I demo one odd. After finally riding a 650b last
weekend, I felt right at home. All of the things I like about the 26er I've
got, with a bit more speed and smoothness to it. It also handled as I expected
it to, which was a welcome change from the 29ers I rode. I guess where I am
going with this is that for us shorter guys this is kinda the best of both
worlds from my experience.
