And what's wrong with the uneducated audience having what we're deeming the
'right' announcers for the job? They'll learn far more about the sport, get a
greater glimpse of the personalities involved, the language/jargon used and
would no doubt find it more entertaining, given it doesn't sound bland like
the rest of the boring commentary out there.
Growing up the most popular sports announcers were those that stood out from
the rest of the pack, whether because of their enthusiasm, slightly different
approach to announcing, or personalities and were incredibly knowledgeable of
the discipline they were covering.
