#!markdown That's nasty. I'm impressed you got 5 years out of some gloves, though. In the Summer, mine start to stink because I often use them to wipe sweat off my face, or they're dirty from grease or grime from leaving my gloves on to do something. Or tubeless sealant from a tire change with gloves on. Etc… In the FallWinterSpring (and sometimes Summer) when it rains, they often get muddy. I wouldn't say I always wash them that frequently, but I'm not shy about chucking them in the wash with other bike stuff. I usually judge how good my last week/two weeks have been based on how much bike clothing there is to wash compared to street clothing. If it's 50/50 or more in favour of jerseys and shammy, life's good.
