Cheers, guys. Ah yes, the benefit of just riding straight out of your garage,
since roads go everywhere. Another good thing about road riding.
Tuscaloosa - yeah MTBers that would join us (in those days I wore two hats:
Euro roadie and mtn biker when I was home) and ride completely differently.
Even strong mountain bikers have different tempo and rhythm on the road bike.
It's more punchy. They accelerate well and are usually fast up quick climbs
but suffer on long, sustained ones. Generally, of course.
