Hey Noah. As I said the chain came off because of a crash. I said nothing
about the guide causing my chain to come off. That said - in the more than two
years since I've been riding SRAM 1 by systems this is the first time I've
lost a chain - and the guide actually slowed me down. Based on my experience
thus far I'd forego a guide even if I was a racer.
