Swicked Experienced Bike Mechanic Wanted

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Family owned and operated full service bicycle retail store seeks an experienced bike mechanic and sales person. This position requires someone who will offer guidance and technical support in all areas of shop operations, including but not limited to repairing all makes and models of bicycles, maintaining inventory and supplies for the shop and providing sales and customer service support. Roles & Responsibilities

Along with sharing your passion for all things cycling, 

Able to work on all levels and styles of bikes

Diagnose, service write, and repair bikes

Maintain a safe and clean work environment 

Field and prioritize emergency requests for service

Assist in purchasing of parts and accessories

Assist with sales of bicycles, parts and accessories

Other duties as assigned

Participate in the regular Swicked group rides as ride leader

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have experience in a professional bicycle store

Strong communication / interpersonal skills

Time management and multi tasking skills

Quick problem solving skills

Proven technical and mechanical aptitude

Willingness to learn and be open to new ideas

Basic computer skills

Some heavy lifting will be required
