For Sale. Loyal steed that has served on 3 continents (Africa, Asia and America) since 2014. She's ripped up stage races in Cape Town, dodged land mines in the DMZ in Korea, outridden the wildlife in Ghana, and played a bit on the shore...
Being able to lock out front and rear sus from the handlebar has been a lifesaver...!
Carbon frame, XT brakes
Bluebikebook tells me USD1300 for this model in good condition (and that's without Sram XX1). Priced to sell - and Wheelthing recommend a shock service too.
Reason for selling: Got me a Rocky Altitude. Nuff said.
Strava tells me that shes done 1600kms.
Full overhaul done by Jeff and the team at Wheelthing about 30 kms ago (see below for what was done).
Pretty much stock except for:SRAM XX1 drive train (34t) - and... oh yes. Gripshift. Upgraded rear hub to covert to 11s. (will come with original hub too) KS Lev 150mm dropper (will aslo come with the original seatpost) Tubless ready (aftermarket tape) Maxis ardent 2.4. They see me rollin...
Ill throw in 4 spare tubes and some tires (cant remember what brand) with approx 50% life on them
Service:-full clean and detail -new shift cable -new dropper cable -2 new shock cables -4 new housings -#cable porn as best as possible -bb service -cleaned chain -rear hanger straightened -shift set up -wheel true x2 -mastic rear chainstay - tires at 30 psi -1 inner tube installed -test ride
Brakes did not feel good so we gave them a bleed-calipers and pistons cleaned -full system bleed with new fluid -new pads in rear as they were contaminated and squealing -calipers aligned over rotors -front brake was very stiff to bleed and had blockage so we needed to overhaul the lever to get it functioning correctly
