In Shimano’s new film, Settle Your Soul, Tyler McCaul, overcomes a serious injury setback which made him question whether he would ever compete again. With a “little much needed help”, Tyler found his way back to top form in time for this year's Red Bull Rampage thanks to his trusty Shimano EP8-equipped Force GT-e AMP e-bike. Tyler realized that the e-bike is much more than a tool for overcoming injury; it has become the foundation for everyday exploration and expanding his playground to do things that he would have never thought possible.

80 North: Sailing on Top of the World

Eight sailors, filmmakers and adventurers pile into a 48 ft sailboat with the goal of exploring and capturing the beauty of Svalbard, the Northernmost settlement in the world, only 600 miles from the North Pole. The sailing expedition brings 24 hours of sunlight, dangerous glacial ice flows and up-close encounters with polar bears, beluga whales, walrus' and much more.

With big travel, and big trick potential, his custom 27.5 / 26 mulleted Trek Session is set up with a one-of-a-kind BlackBox AXS drivetrain, and a 190mm single crown RockShox Zeb Ultimate. Master mechanic, Sean Murphy, of Fluid Function in Squamish, B.C. assembled one of his two builds that he'll be travelling to Red Bull Rampage with, as he seeks an unprecedented fourth title.

And during my first season on the circuit! At 21 years old I had the fangs when I think about it. A lot of ground has been covered since then. Today, I'm not sure I'll ever see myself with a bib again."
