After getting to swing a leg over plenty of new bikes every year, I have to admit, the feeling doesn't get old. There really isn't much better of a feeling than dialling a new bike on the first few rides. Follow along with Thomas Vanderham as he spends a day on the North Shore breaking in his new Sentinel Alloy.

5IFTH...AGAIN - Steve Vanderhoek

Fifth Horseman is an absolute North Shore Classic, I grew up working in a shop at the age of 13 and got accompanied to the weekly Tuesday night groups rides. Every Tuesday, the last 30 minutes of the day was a flurry as we all rushed to get changed to ride, talking to customers with a riding shoe on one foot and a casual shoe on the other with knee pads in hand. Steve grew up riding the trails on Cypress, with Fifth having a perfect combination of flow on top and tech on the last half. This video follows a 6 month project where Steve and his crew have breathed some live into the trail for the up and coming North Shore riders to progress on once again.

The 2024 season didn't exactly go to plan for SCOTT Factory rider Ethan Craik. He'd completed a successful first half of the season before suffering a season-ending injury in a training run in Morzine. The injury would ultimately mean taking 8 full months off before he could get back in between the tape. Follow Ethan's journey as he continues to recover from a ruptured achilles, along with the struggles and life lessons that are learned with it.
