Symbiosis | Dillon Butcher Shows Us The Meaning Of Effortless
To live in symbiosis is to live in harmony with one's surroundings, elevating the experience forboth parties. When Dillon Butcher goes to work on a new trail he brings to life a relationship between him and the forest. He spends countless hours shaping and sculpting some of the most spectacular jump lines and trails we’ve ever seen. He rides these trails with the same level of style and precision. Together they create a masterpiece of mountain biking. Sit back and enjoy as Dillon floats through the forest aboard his custom Druid, a short-travel trail bike capable of elevating any rider's confidence and creativity.
Riders of the Night | Patagonia Stories
In the face of record heat, one city’s mountain bikers go fully nocturnal. The summer of 2023 was the hottest on record for Phoenix, Arizona, with a daily average temperature of 97 degrees Fahrenheit for all of June, July and August and a total of 55 days with highs of at least 110 degrees. In such conditions, getting out on the trails isn't just uncomfortable; it can be downright deadly. Mountain bikers, however, tend to be a foolishly tenacious crowd. Faced with such searing conditions, many local riders have taken a cue from the wildlife and gone fully nocturnal to escape the heat.

On Winning | Robin Gemperle's preparation for the Transcontinental Race
What does it take to make the third time the charm? This summer, leading up to the TCRNo10, Robin set up a strict training plan – reminiscing of his old pro athlete days – and went deep into route planning, all to prepare him for the 4000 km race ahead. The route from Roubaix, France to the last control point in Istanbul, Turkey covers such a mix of terrain – flat roads, mountain passes, gravel shortcuts – and riders are expected to encounter every sort of weather and temperature. It’s a challenge you need to be fully prepared for, both in body and mind. Riding such a distance on your own, unsupported, and with a clock that never stops, with the goal of being the first at the final control point, requires everything from you.

'Debris' was filmed mainly in East & West Sussex & Kent, with Surrey, Essex & Cornwall in the mix too. Supported by Source Skate Co.
Washed Up. A Wasted Talent Film Presented By Sun Bum. Ft. Arthur Longo, Bryan Fox & Jadyn Chomlack.
We were Washed Up. It was time to leave Tokyo. Oasis blares unbelievably loudly in the smoky bar, as we order more Highballs and Arthur queues Serge Gainsborough. Our veins are full of Umeshu Soda and jetlag from Europe is in our favour. We are anything but tired. No Parents. No Vegetables. No Bedtime. Now there are two ways to leave Tokyo, one is via Narita Airport and the other is via Haneda. Never, ever leave Tokyo via Narita. And never, ever fly Jetstar. And never ever, leave for your Jetstar flight from Narita after about 2 hours sleep after Juliano’s bar. And to Hokkaido we made it. After a slew of cancelled flights, we secured our Toyota Hiace and set sail for the side, back and resort country of Japan’s wonderful northern most island. The resulting short film is visual fragments for our time in Japan; 13 days of convenience store dieting, “how much is that in euros”, the filthiest van imaginable, merch, soft shell crabs, Umeshu Sodas, Yakuza Onsens, rival crews, indoor smoking, dam drops, van tows, the nicest crew going, night rides, Smirnoff Ices, hiking, artistic inspiration, egg sandwiches and yet above all; a deep love of Snowboarding.
A Dream Runs Through It | A YETI Dispatch Story on Kate Crump's Alaskan Fishing Lodge in Bristol Bay
Ambassador Kate Crump and Justin Crump were looking for a sense of purpose. They found one in the middle of nowhere. The Naknek River’s blue-green waters flow in smooth sheets as the sun’s reflection winks up at our lodge’s upper deck. It’s early, but the sun has already tracked up and over the hills on the opposite bank: a quintessential Alaska summer sun. From here I can see the tops of the guest cabins peeking through dense greenery as they cling to the side of the bluff. Our lodge, The Lodge at 58° North, is perched on an inside bend upriver from Bristol Bay, just outside of Katmai National Park. These waters hold ocean-bright salmon, arctic char, grayling and trophy rainbow trout, while the land hosts brown bears, moose, caribou, foxes, and countless other wild species. Looking over our bluff, knowing what it took to get here, I never take these views for granted. Everyone has defining moments in their life. For me, those moments arrive in a visceral experience of a warm light, like a beacon in my soul is letting me know I’m on the right path. I might feel utterly lost, but then something unexpected happens, and if that beacon lights up, I know I’m where I’m supposed to be.
