PRESS RELEASE
Truvativ Colabs with Troy Lee and Launches 35mm bars
With 35mm bars firmly entrenched as a diameter standard, it was only a matter of time before we saw Truvativ (aka SRAM) join the fray with their Descendant line of controls. The big news with this release is twofold: SRAM has once again partnered with Troy Lee Designs to bring some outrageous colour palates to their bars, and includes a sticker pack to colour-match your Rock Shox fork. The other big splash is the two athlete colabs: Jerome Clementz finds his name and designs on a 760mm carbon bar, while Kyle Strait's 808mm wide alu setup gets some lift. Get all the details, including pricing (USD, EUR, GBP) and availability after the break.
Mix and match might work for clothing, but not your mountain bike cockpit. The new Descendant stem is 3d forged from 7075 alloy, then machined for weight reduction, and is the perfect match for your Descendant bars — not that you’re worried about that kind of thing. Built strong, to take on the world’s toughest trails, Descendant stems keep you pointed in the right direction.

20 years ago I remember seeing a guy with a jacked up truck, custom exhaust with a bumper sticker "If it's too loud, you're too old".
It's too loud.
I'm too old.
