A little while back we got our first look at the asymmetrical 2015 Specialized Demo. While out sniffing around the pits today, we spied several hanging out at the Specialized tent. After some polite back and forth, they allowed us to snag some photos of the new beast. We have more in the vault, but we’re not allowed to talk about those quite yet…

While we weren't allowed to hang it on a chairlift and rail it through the park, the folks at Specialized were kind enough to let it out of their sight for a few minutes.

The shock itself is slightly offset from the rest of the frame. Time will tell how this affects the ride, but for now all we can say is that it gives this unique looking bike even more character.

If you don't feel like running the Öhlins shock, Specialized has made it easy to run whatever else you may want to bring to the party.

Well that’s all we’re allowed to share for now. Stay tuned for more details as they become available…
