Who was faster where? Sam edged Loic at the line by 1.075 seconds but was he always ahead? And there were two riders, Matt Simmonds and Josh Bryceland, who finished between Sam and Loic. That’s how tight the racing was.

i love that hill is finding his form again. his style is a nice counterpoint to polished athletes like gee, minnarr and gwin (who it must be said is taking his relegation to the field quite graciously). one thing i find curious though is that he has become so popular: people seemed mostly ambivalent to him, or even hostile, back when he was dominant. in a way i get it - everyone loves an underdog - but i wonder if that will evaporate now that he's back in regular contention

Totally agree, I am so stoked that he is on top form and smashing the field, there are such allot of contenders now, Ratboy, Simmonds, Hill, Loic etc. would like Connor Fearon to get into the top 5 as well. It is a good time for DH racing for sure. Brendawg and Gee must be feeling the pain now.
