The team from Chain Reaction Cycles head to the EWS in Wicklow, Ireland, to put Ric McLaughlin and one of the first bikes ever sold at CRC, a circa 1992 GT All Terra. He's tasked with riding down a modern trail normally ridden on bigger, fully suspended high-tech bikes. It's one thing to ride rigid bikes, it's another to ride to ride a 25-year-old rigid.
They upgraded to V-brakes. Least they could have done is found a higher end model with early XT and thumbies. Brake levers were classified as 4-finger and 2-finger at the time.
...what cyclotoine said....at least they gave him something a bit more "modern" in the brake department. I was expecting cantilevers....or maybe a chainstay mounted U-brake.
Also...shoulda thrown in some bear-claw pedals with plastic toe-clips!

26" and rigid is killer. 29" and rigid is do-able.

I'm sure Magura rim brakes were around at the time. They were a whole lot better than the brakes he had.
Maybe even some Mag 21s up front.
