Raccoons Borrowed My Bike Volume 9
Riding season is in full swing here in Bellingham, which means my life is rife with inspiration for comics. Here's this week's dose.

Maybe it's a product of age, but my friends used to cross thread their pedals a lot more a decade ago than they do now.

Slug is me.

You gotta be careful when you're laying down the watts!

The choice is yours: throw the creaking bike into the sea, or descend into madness.

Wait, you can build trail without talking shit the entire time? Inconceivable!
I hope you enjoyed this week's cast of characters. I put together a little raccoon-themed graphics package for my DH bike, and figured I might as well share the files in case anyone else wants some "Ride fast, eat trash" swag.

Snails ride fast, right?

Matching fender and top tube options.

All the weird details.

Photographed in its natural habitat, by the trash cans.
You can download all the files I used to make this frame guard and fender here. I used Groundkeeper Custom to make mine. I included full layouts, as well as unique elements, so you can lay out your design in their online builder. Feel free to get weird with it, and get your own swag printed with my art! Give your raccoon-obsessed friends something fun for their birthday! I'd only ask that you please don't sell stuff with my art printed on it. That would suck.

HI Cy, I'm sure many of us would love to support $$ a crowd funded collection of your great creations. Calendar? Coffee table book? Comic book? They make my day. My kids love them as well and generate great conversations about human nature and social complexity.

Thank you! The coffee table book is coming. I have 15 more animals to draw, and then I'll have a book of all 60, along with a coloring book. Honestly, I planned on having them done by now, but I've just been riding my bike too dang much. Expect those in June though!

I second this if it's in the cards for you, Cy. I'm guessing it's not a simple side project to get something published in print. Thanks for sharing them and your art, either way! I send these weekly volumes to a group text and group discord, always appreciated by all.

Ride Wrap or even stickers with Cy's art on it is something I would happily cover my bike with.
