Raccoons Borrowed My Bike Volume 4
This week's dose of comics feels especially escapist. The world is smoldering, but the dirt has been incredible, and the riding company even better. So here's a lineup of folks you may or may not know.

I made this piece after a few months of working a "real job" that included health insurance, but no doodling. Any day that includes big rock rolls and cliff jumping is a win in my book!

If you have a multitool easily accessible, don't be surprised if your friends want to borrow it!

Personally, I don't mind folks like Elk too much, as long as they're consistent. But if every once in a while they're very early, tapping their toes and waiting for you? That's just not fair!

We all know the mechanic that should probably not be forced to be a forward-facing personality in the shop.

I am Goat. Always. If I come out strong, don't worry, I'll be sucking wind soon enough!

"Did anyone bring a bleed kit?"
I hope your spring is full of bikes and people you love! Here's the rest of the series so far:
Finally, if you like printing things out and coloring them at home, well, I've got you covered! If you're at Sea Otter, eat a hot dog for me!

Haha, I came here to say I immediately thought of 1 Elk in particular. And I've tried the "tell him rides start 15 min early" to try and he was still putting his shoes and helmet on when I rolled up at the actual start time.

Some elks (hand raised) have time blindness because of their ADHD and really wish they could be more on time :/

If you have never coached NICA I would explain it as a herd of sheep. Practice starts with a bike check and you could always count on multiple kids not doing A is for air, then asking you to pump up their tires the second you were just far enough away from the parking lot to not have easy access to a floor pump. But they are good kids so you hand them a pump.

Oh boy. You just hit me with a wave of memories (maybe PTSD?). NICA kids, and their parents are major inspirations for this series!

Sheep reminds me of old Matthew Bond, new Matthew Bond has a sick Knolly Chilcotin, old Matthew Bond would roll up in a jalopi that Andrew Major, Andrew Hewitson, or anyone with a bit of mechanical patience would help fix at the trail head. But Matthew is a great guy, and a wicked fast rider.
