We weren’t confident that we would get enough shots on the jump trail so we went ahead and built another trail beside it. A lot of earth was moved by hand but it never hurts to put in that time. Do it right, don’t do it twice! If it’s going to take another day, take another day. – Dylan Dunkerton

You can’t go wrong keeping it simple. But nowadays with technology progressing so fast, being a filmer has become not so simple. You could say it’s easier to get great shots with tools like drones and cable cams but it has been a big learning experience for us. In the end, the shots speak for themselves, it’s insane what tools are available these days. – Dylan Dunkerton

I have always had one rule when it comes to filming and riding. Don’t force it. If it doesn’t feel good don’t do it, if the shot doesn’t look good don’t shoot it. Let it all come together organically – that’s when projects come out looking the best. – Dylan Dunkerton

Dyl and I have been riding bikes together since we were 10 and 12, getting our dads to help us build a ladder drop behind our school. Even though the Principal made us tear it down soon after, it was a start. Here we are 15 years later still buzzin’ each other’s tires down the trails while learning what we can from our skilled parents who share the same values in life. No matter how many times you ride a new feature or test something for the first time, there is always the fear of miss judging your speed, or half committing. From start to finish the more you stare at your project and start to feel it out, it slowly becomes more and more comfortable until it’s time to really feel it out. If you build it… Well, you gotta ride it right?! – Curtis Robinson

The Intern, Inty, I N T, IntyBoi, Evan “Intern” Young. The myth is true folks, hard work, and determination does prevail (yes this sounds cliche as ever) but damn is it true when it comes to the story of The Intern. If you like something enough and are willing to do whatever it takes to pursue that dream, there is success hidden behind each challenge even if it doesn’t feel that way. I’ve been hanging, riding, and working with Intern for the past 5 years and he may not know it yet but he’s living the dream harder than anyone I know. Thanks for years of hard work and good times, the digging ain’t over yet sucker! – Curtis Robinson Intern has been an integral part of our growth over the years. Whether it’s slaving away carrying gear up a mountainside for “Inside Out”, packing bundles of slats across ravines for “Arrival” all the way to helping develop and manage CGP.
