Norco Race Division - Just Getting Started EP5
Episode 5 of Just Getting Started is just out, showcasing the hard work and incredible drive that has gotten the Norco Race Division team to World Champs—and brought about some big changes.
After the 6-week summer break, the Norco Race Division headed into the weekend feeling tuned-up and refreshed. They were fired up for Greg’s final World Champs in his second home of Andorra, and Gracey’s first major elite race since her broken hand.
Every athlete dreams of wearing the rainbow stripes and earning the title of the fastest in the world at the World Champs. But as a culmination of the racing season, the event means so much more, especially for the Norco team. Representing their countries—South Africa for Greg, and Canada for Gracey and Kirk—the team embodies the hard work and camaraderie built throughout their first season together.
This was Greg’s 28th and final World Champs. He first competed at 15 and has participated in every World Championship since—more than any other rider across any discipline. With the race taking place in Andorra, his second home, the significance of this milestone was even greater. It felt like coming home in a lot of ways, with South African and Andorran friends and fans meeting each other and showing up to celebrate Greg and his incredible career.
