A Moment of Solitude

NOTE: All content was gathered previously, please respect your local government's advice regarding outdoor activity. Please, where possible, ride responsibly to avoid placing more strain on our vital health services. Working together we can get through this and back out on the trails sooner!

We all could use a moment of solitude right now. Whether your moment is riding your bike, going for a walk, or disconnecting from media, we hope you find your version of solitude.

This crisis is impacting every corner of humanity. In these times, we need to be responsible humans and adhere to the guidelines provided by our local authorities. Bikes are what bring us together. We need to limit group activities now, so that we can ride with one another again soon. If you can still enjoy the outdoors on a bike, please do so in solitude and make good choices along the way.

This video describes well over 90% of my rides. I often select trails that either have hard climbs that most riders won’t do or trails so far out that it’s rare to see others. Or trails considered not gnarly enough to be worthwhile like Train Wreck and the trails connected to it. Often with my labradors too. I’ve never had a pressing need to ride with others all the time. In fact, some of my friends are kind of annoying to ride with. It takes them too long to get ready, their bikes break down and I get discouraged by how long some people take to repair flats.
