If you haven't seen The Moment, you may have spoken to someone who has. If not the take away is that if you are a mountain biker, you are going to want to see this film. It's an insightful, funny and compelling portrait of how mountain biking went from lycra to gnarly. Darcy Turenne manages to distill an enormous volume of interviews and archival footage and into a story that is at times thrilling, heart wrenching and hilarious. Unlike most documentaries I've seen, The Moment has been even more enjoyable on my second and third viewings.
