Martyn Ashton Rides Whistler

There's no doubt that Martyn Ashton is definitely not one for quitting, and so after taking on the Fort William track with his specially designed Canyon, it was only a matter of time before he hopped the pond to Whistler. Arriving while Crankworx was in full swing, Ashton took in the sights, and more importantly the riding. Check out his journey in Canada, along with Ashton's indomitable spirit.

That was awesome. That man's stoke for life, friendship and riding is an inspiration.

I'm speechless. The guys at GMBN are simply amazing. And Martyn is right, MTB is all about going out with your friends, challenging your fears, and ultimately making it work.

Hat off for all the guys involved in this project.

I'm a Martyn Ashton fan (who isn't?) but I have to admit, the Fort William video was so cheesy that I didn't know if I'd want to watch all of this one.

Was I ever wrong.

WOW tough crowd!

Martin Ashton is the UKs equivalent to Canada's Ryan Leech. I only saw that Fort Will vid as a good bit of fun and pretty amazing that he could ride most of the track on his adapted bike.

Yeah this vid is way better, but the Fort Bill one amazed me at the time as I'd been following him all his career and through his rehab so it see him ride how he did on that track made me smile for the rest of the day.

The hairs raised on my arms when he rode the Dh race.
