Maribor World Cup 2020 Round 2 - Final Results

It was some incredibly tight racing for Round 2 of the UCI DH World Cup in Maribor, Slovenia today. Just over 1 second separated 1st from 5th in the Elite Men's division, with Loris Vergier gracing the top of the podium. Loic Bruni and Matt Walker would finish 0.057(!) and 0.403 seconds behind him for 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Canadian Finn Iles would find himself in 4th place with a run of 3:08.634, just 0.863 seconds behind the pace, while fellow Canuck Mark Wallace would finish 17th with a run of 3:14.040.

In the Elite Women's division, Nina Hoffmann grabbed 1st with a time of 3:38.602, with Marine Caribou and Italian Eleonora Farina rounding out 2nd and 3rd place.
