We still don't know what happened to top qualifier on the men's side as Brooke MacDonald wasn't able to take his run in the final, leaving it wide open for the rest of the field. In the end the course that was deemed too flat and too short delivered some exciting racing and excellent viewing, with none other than Aaron Gwin taking his first win of the season for the Elite Men, and Myriam Nicole sliding into top spot for the Elite Women.
