Valentina Höll – Fastest in Les Gets
Vali Höll has been dominating the junior women's World Cup downhill races since she started competing. Now in her final year as a junior, she's starting to take over the elite field. Vali's race run on Saturday was the quickest of any female race time, and not by fractions of a second. Vali went more than a second faster than elite women's race winner, Tracey Hannah. Amaury Pierron – Untouchable Speed
Amaury's race run was blinding fast and the noise building from the crowd as he makes his way down gives me chicken skin. He said in a few post race interviews that he had two near death moments but they're hard to see in this. The risk involved in some of these lines—like airing into a small, dusty rut—would eat any mortal alive but Pierron makes it look easy.
