Watching troy crash in the woods was heart breaking. That was a really hard race to watch all round.

I won't go as far as some that called for it to be rescheduled. An event of this magnitude is tough enough to put on and next to impossible to move.

I think overall the conditions reflect a need for more south american, Australian, NZ venues to put their hands up to host the world championships.

Two final points:

I wish they would stop using scribd. It's an appalling platform.

Jack Moir showed he should undoubtedly still be in a DH program. I hope that teams took notice.

Agree. It was there for Troy. And others, too! Mark Wallace also came really close.

Conditions were just a function of fall in the mountains. It would have been exactly the same elsewhere. Blame Covid. The schedule makes hosting worlds in the southern hemisphere tough, but of course it isn't impossible.

Agreed on scribd. It sucks to work with, too. But the UCI doesn't like change - they'll still likely be using it in 2030.

The UCI could do with some modernization in general, beyone Scribd - I can't imagine people not working around the whole geoblocking thing? And with that in mind, how many sales could possibly be going on within each country to make the licensing deals worth it?
