Leogang Final Results 2018
The revamped track at Leogang made for some supremely close racing today, as riders battled it out under ideal conditions.
Aaron Gwin was (as usual) one of the riders to watch in the Elite Men's category; having qualified farther down the list than usual, he put in a burner of a run that stood up to all but one rider: Amaury Pierron. Pierron would blaze a perfect path to the top step of the podium, while none other than Laurie Greenland finished in 3rd.
The Elite Women's race was no less drama-filled, with Rachel Atherton finding her form once again and taking top spot on the podium. Myriam Nicole would fall to 2nd, just over a half-second back, while Tracey Hannah rounded out the top 3 in 3rd. 1st place qualifier Tahnee Seagrave went through the tape and would end with a DNF, leaving her without finals points for Leogang.
Check out the full results below, and mark your calendars for July 7th and 8th when DH action returns to Val di Sole, Italy.
