Kona Releases All New Remote X and 160 DL
Kona Remote X

The 180mm Remote X is a proper trail-eating sled of a bike.

The Remote's battery cover is secured using m5 bolts, no keys to lose, no fuss.

SLX Brakes, 38 fork and MaxxGrip rubber make this bike ready to roll from stock. The Deore Cassette will last longer than the more expensive ones in the hierarchy, allowed better spec where it matters.
Taking the amplification of the Process X to a mad scientist approved logical conclusion, we bring you the Remote X. For those times when “big enough” and “good enough” are not enough, the Remote X brings 180mm of travel and a Shimano EP8 motor assist to the gravity party along with an appetite for mayhem. Built for high speed and big hits in gnarly terrain, the Remote X is your invitation to leave the shuttle rigs behind and go hammer out the vertical without any middlemen. Spend less time behind the wheel, log way more time on two wheels, or one wheel, or getting plenty of breathing room beneath your wheels. A 612Wh battery keeps the fun times ripping for lap after lap, the super composed handling keeps you in control no matter how hectic things get, and burly, highly evolved Kona construction ensure that everything stays in one piece no matter how hard you shred.

Kona Remote 160 DL

Powered by an 85nm Shimano EP8, the Remote DL has a 612 Wh gas tank.

The speed sensor is discreetly tucked into the rear drop out.

A handy USB-C port is located below the power button.
The Greek storyteller Aesop is credited with originally coining the phrase “It is possible to have too much of a good thing.” But he was talking about flies and honey, not mountain bikes. The new Kona Remote X and 160 DL call BS on that jive. They take all the good stuff from our beloved Process family – sweet handling, progressive geometry, ripping trail prowess – and amplify those traits with the seamless assist of Shimano’s intuitive, dependable, EP8 motor. So go ahead, run the stickiest, meatiest tires you can find. Use ALL the plush suspension. Crush your favorite loops faster than ever before, then go back for seconds, or thirds. Leave the shuttle rigs at home. Go bigger, do more. Rinse. Repeat. Too much of a good thing? Nah. Just enough.
