Kelly McGarry – Gone at 33

The particulars are unclear as of this morning but the details hardly seem unimportant: Kelly McGarry has died while out on a mountain bike ride near Queenstown New Zealand. Some outlets are reporting a crash but others suggest a medical event.

Kelly was one of the most universally loved athletes in mountain biking, his talent only overshadowed by his positive and friendly spirit.
