Jackson Goldstone Rails the New Maxxis Forekaster in the Highlands
We caught up with Jackson Goldstone (Santa Cruz Syndicate) in between World Cup races in the Scottish Highlands to try out the new Forekaster aboard his Tallboy trail bike.
Launching at Eurobike 2022 the totally revised Maxxis Forekaster treads the line between XC and trail. Tread blocks feature sharp edges for predictable traction and the knobs are tightly-packed for enhanced rolling speed. The 29x2.40 size weighs in under 950g making it a great option for XC and light trail bikes in the 100mm-130mm travel range.
Visit our site for more information on the Forekaster or head to your favorite retailer to purchase.

I'm liking the refresh on these. Always liked the originals, but knobs were a bit small and side knobs were kinda lacking, these look to have dealt with both issues. Wondering how big the 2.4" (was previously labeled 2.35") actually is and the 2.6", wish they offered a 29x2.8".

Actual widths vs. labelled widths is always a question it seems.
