The roll call of world famous places in BC makes for a long list. Heck, many trail names around here are known in all four corners. Some moves are recognizable from a single photo. But what makes BC that much more special is that on top of all the greatest hits, there are so many other communities that aren't as well known for riding, but still have great trails worthy of your next road trip. We don't need another video about riding Treasure Trail in Squamish (doesn't mean we won't watch the next one someone makes) but we do like the thought of helping uncover a few places with great riding that you might not know much about. Little caveat: this is not about blowing up spots. We set eyes on places that wanted to be discovered.

So, we sent Hailey and Ollie off in search of a few of BC's Hidden Gems and asked them to bring back video postcards of their adventures on two and four wheels.

First stop: Powell River.

Sorry, missed the mark for me, must have been made for the younger generation who's attention span is less than one second. Looks like possibly a beautiful place, but couldn't tell from the way too shortclips/fast cuts and the what looks to be mainly bermed out jump trails, only accessible if you have a tricked out 4x4, really doesn't entice me to go visit.

It is a beautiful place (I grew up there), but the video is really just a Tacoma ad.

"mainly bermed out jump trails"

You'd be dead wrong there. :)

Maybe, but according to THIS video, I'm not, one very short clip of a nice, tech looking trail, then the rest was all man made berms and jumps.
