Forbidden Bikes Name Trail Bike & Launch Website

Video Forbidden BIke Company

During the 2018 stop for Crankworx Whistler, Forbidden Bike Company received heaps of attention. Heck, they're still getting it now and I'm a sucker on that train. Two reasons for the interest include; they're a small Canadian made company, and the bike is unique.

That bike now has a name too; the Druid. The first bike from Forbidden will feature a high-single pivot design that delivers 130mm of rear wheel travel, a full carbon frame and will be fully revealed in April. Without much more information and plenty of speculation they've generated so much interest. Much of the interest is probably thanks to the high-single pivot design on a trail bike. There's something about the return of the HSP design that's getting a lot of riders excited, and from experience, the modern design works really well. It remains to be seen how the Druid will perform, but if it's anything like the Norco Aurum HSP, the 130mm travel will allow it to rally beyond what most perceive a 130mm bike to be capable of.

Forbidden have also launched their new website and a new video, showcasing the capabilities of the bike and sharing information on the brand. Watch the video then head over to the Forbidden Bikes website to learn more about the brand.

Such an interesting bike... especially with headquarters just up the island from me.  Is NSMB getting a test mule?

I can't wait to see how this bike rides, it looks like a winner from what I have seen so far though!

A heads up for someone to edit the link to their website at the bottom of the article it should be https://www.forbiddenbike.com, not https://www.forbiddenbike.com/password. Not a huge deal right now as it looks like their site is down.

It looks like the link you submitted has an extra "%2C" which doesn't get you to the site.  When you just put in the proper website it automatically adds "password".  Not sure why, but the site is up and working fine like that.
