Elite Men

After going fastest by more than six seconds in qualifying, Troy Brosnan was an easy favourite to win the first World Cup of the year in Leogang. Conditions remained consistent for the men, with the drying track seeing qualifying times drop early and Troy Brosnan lit the final woods ablaze to take the win.

Elite Women

What a nail-biter for the Elite Women's race. The fastest qualifier, Vali Höll was on a blinder and looked set to take her first Elite victory but came unstuck within view of the finish line. Myriam Nicole was on pace to take the win but got caught off-balance in the steep wooded section, knocking her down to 8th place. But it was the reigning World Champ, Camille Balanche who won again on the tough Leogang track.

Junior Men

After qualifying fifth and almost 10 seconds off the pace in qualifying, Commencal 21 junior rider, Pau Menoyo Busquets came out with something to prove for finals. The young Canadian star, Jackson Goldstone was consistent in both qualifying and finals, finishing second and Canyon Collection FMD rider, Dennis Luffman rounded out the top three.

Improved weather conditions provided an even playing field today in Leogang but the fastest female junior remained the local Austrian, Sophie Gutohrle. .
