DVO Releases 2019 Suspension Range

DVO Suspension has only been around for six years, but the people behind the brand have been involved in mountain bikes, and more importantly, mountain bike suspension for a great deal longer. Their 2019 line has just been released and with it, some new products to provide more options for riders. Two additions worth mentioning are the single crown version of their Onyx fork, and a 34mm stanchion diameter Sapphire. The 2019 line looks more refined and fills in some gaps that were existing before.

Check out their full release below and stay tuned for our first podcast, with Bryson Martin, coming very soon.

Here it comes, 2019 is around the corner. Thankfully, so are new products from DVO Suspension. DVO has grown immensely since its inception in 2012 but 2019 marks the next evolution for the brand. We strive to create high-end suspension products with customer service and quality at the forefront. This year we made many additions to our quickly expanding product line as well as updated many of our mainstay products.

Introducing D1

D1 is our premium line of suspension forks, no compromise or shortcuts. High/ Low-Speed Compression, Rebound and OTT features all come standard.

D1 is our premium line of suspension forks. Hand built with all the features and performance you’ve grown to expect from DVO. The D1 system is based on the proven diamond damping design featuring a compression bladder and full shim stack controlled dynamic damping.

High/ low-speed compression, rebound and externally adjustable OTT features all come standard with the D1 line. This is available on Sapphire 34, Diamond, and Onyx Series forks.

2019 DVO Sapphire D1

The all new Sapphire D1 gets upgraded to 34mm stanchions, stiffer chassis, and more progressive air spring.

DVO Sapphire 34 2019

DVO's Sapphire comes with a 34mm stanchion option for 2019.

The new Sapphire D1 is bigger and better—simple as that. A new chassis design utilizes 34mm stanchions and a stronger casting design to keep up with today’s demanding riding standards. A slightly modified air spring provides an extremely supple beginning stroke, improved mid-stroke support, and a progressive end for control on the big hits. Combine that with the proven damping features and characteristics of the Diamond, this fork is the new standard.

DVO Advanced Volume Adjust (AVA) System

Advanced Volume Adjust (AVA) is a new feature for us. It allows the rider to change the height of the air piston and control end stroke progression.

Using a 32mm socket or open end wrench, remove the AVA unit from the top of the stanchion, remove or insert the volume clips on either side of the piston. Put a clip on top and the fork becomes more progressive. Put a clip on the bottom and achieve more travel.
