A Drone For Singletrack with Trees

Do you think it’ll work in really tight nasty situations like those we have on the North Shore?

Imagine that with the new Nikon 360 camera…

Sorry but this goes in my hate pile with the eBikes. In fact I'm certain the first dude I see with one of these will be riding his new eBike. Does anyone seriously want this in the woods with them? I just hope it's not me on the eBike:P

And the video probably looks like crap. The camera is all over the place!

Gimbals make it all better.

After watching it again, it does look like the camera head is on a gimbal which would be great. It should be interesting to see how this plays out. Can it keep up with a rider moving much faster down the trail?

I'll bet it can't perform in a Cat. 4 hurricane either…or being attacked by a cheetah or falcon. Let's see it handle THAT! Who gives a shat about all the what ifs. It's very cool!!

Mandatory full face helmet, googles and body armor if that thing is flying near you.

impressive. amazing even. all the long tiny branches found in a dense second growth forest? no way. crashes in seconds.

Yep, was thinking the same. Much more dense where I ride. Can barely get through some places with 780 bars. Also the speed might be an issue. That guy was crawling along, probably so the demo would work.

I do like the concept though, but I am just doubting it's worth in the real world at the moment.
