Claudio tastes dirt at Val di Sole

Well, we're already at the final race week of the 2017 UCI DH World Cup season, and it's going to be a cracker. A tight points race has emerged between Minnaar and Gwin, but the race to the top of the podium will be fierce. On the women's side, Myriam Nicole has the points race pretty well wrapped up, but that won't keep Rachel Atherton from trying to salvage her injury-plagued season. We'll also get to see EWS dominator Cécile Ravanel take a crack at Downhill, which should be very interesting to watch.

The forecast is for sunny and hot conditions, so we can hopefully look forward to an even playing field.

Here's Claudio's final course preview vid of the season. They had to rouse Ed Masters (and his mechanic) from bed but he seemed up for it. Claudio, on the other hand, went down hard in one of the rock gardens. Yet another entertaining course preview that should give a sense of how rowdy the racing should be on Saturday.
